Carl M. Humbert (Humbert) was charged by information with two misdemeanors and four felonies. He pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor charges and filed a plea in bar asserting that prosecution on the two corresponding felony charges in the information is barred by the Double Jeopardy Clauses of the state and federal Constitutions. The district court overruled Humberts plea in bar, and he filed this interlocutory appeal.
